THE SENIOR
SCHOOL ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Acceptance
of Students: Students are accepted into Kuper Academy’s
Senior School through an individual selection
process which generally includes a personal interview and an entrance
examination. The applicant must demonstrate sufficient language skills, gross
and fine motor development, academic preparedness and a high degree of
motivation and interest. Our expectation is that a student demonstrates a
positive attitude towards learning and in his/her relationships with other
children. It is essential that a child display a healthy social, physical,
emotional and intellectual disposition in order to benefit from and contribute
to our Academy program.
Upon making
the decision to apply, parents should submit the following to The Kuper
Academy Senior School:
- A fully completed application form
- A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate with both parents’ names
- A copy of the child’s recent report card and/or a short biography (where applicable)
- Visa or immigration documents (where applicable)
- A non-refundable cheque for $50.00.
Following the
processing of this documentation, parents will be given a date and time for
testing and evaluation. Parents will be duly notified of the evaluation
results. Should the child receive a letter of acceptance to Kuper Academy,
the parents must provide the school with:
- A completed registration form.
- The registration fee of $200.00 per child.
- A signed contract and a completed payment-plan selection form.
- A release form.
The required building fund fee:
- Secondary I and Secondary II: $1,950.00
- Secondary III and IV: $1,850.00
